Avocado oil works well too.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sweet Potato<\/strong> &ndash; the base of our sweet potato hash<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bell Pepper<\/strong> &ndash; I like to use red bell pepper but use any color you&rsquo;d like.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Red onion<\/strong> &ndash; for flavor and a little crunch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Garlic <\/strong>&ndash; Ideally use freshly minced garlic for the best aromatics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kale<\/strong> &ndash; I like using lacinato kale but feel free to use any kind of kale.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spices<\/strong> &ndash; Chili powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salt + Black Pepper<\/strong> &ndash; add more or less to taste and sodium preferences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eggs<\/strong> &ndash; to round out the dish and add a little protein<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-make-sweet-potato-hash\">How to Make Sweet Potato Hash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-quaternary-background-color has-background\"><strong>STEP 1: ROAST SWEET POTATOES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease your cast-iron skillet with olive oil. Add sweet potato and toss with chili powder, paprika, cumin and a 1\/4 tsp salt and a half of pepper. Toss with remaining 1\/4 tsp of salt and remaining half of pepper.
